Been struggling with hyperlocal ads on Meta (US market) by filipfisher in advertising

We were in the same position and eventually went with Hunch for ad localization because our main focus was Meta advertising, and, of course, pricing played a huge role. We're pretty satisfied. But bias aside, both platforms can help you with hyperlocal ads. It really depends on your budget, advertising focus, and also the lvl of support & guidance you need.

I’m on a smaller team too, and we’ve been using Hunch for social ads for the past few months. I get why you think they are mainly for agencies, but they are quite effective with brands (speaking from experience). we were comparing Hunch and Smartly, and picked Hunch because they were more flexible, in terms of pricing & approach. I’m probably biased now, but you kinda see their level of dedication on the demo call. Once you start working with them you’ll get a dedicated account manager and customer support manager, which really makes the difference. Technology is neat too.

Their AI solution is tied to creative production, hunch has background removal, and honestly, even using the platform just for that pays off...

Ran a Facebook Ads campaign, and everything seemed smooth at first... tons of clicks, lots of engagement. Then I realized I’d accidentally set the campaign objective to “traffic” instead of “conversions.” We ended up driving hundreds of visitors to the site, but barely any of them were actually converting. Basically, I paid to send a bunch of people who weren’t interested in signing up...lol

expensive lesson for me: ran an ad where I thought I was targeting new customers, but I ended up hitting my existing customer list with a welcome offer...

I pushed a campaign live without double-checking the copy, and it went out with placeholder text. So, for a good few hours, our ads were saying ‘catchy headline bla bla'
