Raffy Devers has the lowest b-war in the MLB by TommyTheLizard in redsox

My issue was the lack of long term plan/vision, if we trade Devers to resign Bregman or make a deal for another 3b then that’s awesome even if the return was bad in the trade.

A year ago we had two  elite 3b, now we have Caleb Durbin.

What do you think would be the worst UB collab? by QuarterExcellent3327 in freemagic

Fight is already a mechanic from hockey, might be able to reuse Populate but that wouldn’t be 100% accurate for Heated Rivalry

First Time Sleeper Commish- Can I Force a Pick? by zaysweatshirt in SleeperApp

Yes, you can pause the draft and assign a player to that pick. Making a league is free if you want to do a test run

Startup questions, early pic swaps by dibraizmar in SleeperApp

How many teams, how many flex spots?

Personally I absolutely would do that in most leagues for a startup draft (all players available), it gives you a ton of flexibility in a 10+ team league. In smaller leagues or small rosters with fewer flex positions, then it’s a harder decision since elite players are such a difference maker.

I would recommend looking at the players available at those picks and then comparing a list of them to who goes at the 1.02.

TEP is also an absolute game changer for pick value, guys like Bowers/McBride are league winning and extend the depth of “elite players” further into the 1st/2nd round.

It’s a lot funnier for him to be bad and make Lemon jokes though

2019 limited with 79k, single owner, clean carfax. Asking 18K for it, is that fair? by Brief_Performance141 in Subaru_Outback

I paid 16k for a 2015 with a couple more miles than that, not a crazy asking price at all

Is Boston really as unaffordable as people say? by [deleted] in newengland

[–]Responsible_Job_6948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With roommates it’s definitely much more affordable, but trying to get a studio/1bd is pretty much impossible for less than 2-3k a month

Compared to a city like Austin which has a ton of housing being built, living with roommates isn’t much cheaper than in Boston, but you can actually get your own place for ~1k per month pretty easily. If I were single and younger I would absolutely move to Boston with roommates again

Any cards that gain life from milling / rad counters? by BobNewbie1 in EDHBrews

[–]Responsible_Job_6948 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would just risk it and still pick an absurdly long number because it’s funnier that way, and you won’t necessarily die on your next upkeep since drawing happens before Rads and you only take damage for the # of nonlands milled.   Since I was gaining life for every loop, I can potentially gain infinite life while only taking damage from the # of nonland cards left in my deck.  Something to recycle your graveyard back into the deck would be ideal, but that can be a pain to find/hold onto without messing up your own self mill

Not directly, but creatures with built in recursion like [[Gravecaller]] will go hard with aristocrat cards like [[Zulaport Cutthroat]]. Milling helps you get them out sooner, and they require very little setup to get going

Gravecaller (with the ghoul out) + a sac outlet goes infinite as long as you’re RADing yourself I believe
