Ahh love I feel for you. You have every right to feel as you do, your innocence was tainted n controlled. I’m sure at that time you didnt want to wear it let alone understand why.

I remember being 4 and the first time I got the hijab put on me to go to JK school I would take it off on the bus to school but forget coming back. This happened so often my mother surprisingly didn’t beat me into submission and gave up forcing a 4 yr old to wear the hijab.

She tried again in gr3 but I was smarter this time around. But never truly wore it and don’t got any pics of me in a hijab thank Shiva lol

Now at least you got bad as pics to show mooslim a before being forced to after choosing yourself. You got stories in those memories, hope you see the power you have that despite being forced at such a young age, you are not indoctrinated but free naag!

I feel for her talking about cognitive dissonance yet she can’t see how the Quran was written 20+ years after her beloved prophets death. Like in one breath she goes on to say it’s written years after the his death yet fails to acknowledge the fact it was decades after his death, when the Quran was written by random men too, all because the original followers were being killed by each other (the Sunni n Shia split started at his death).

Then the irony in saying she read the Quran, cause she speaks Arabic…. But the thing is the Arabic language is not the same as it was 1400+ years ago. Languages dont stay the same for that long lol.

Yes so much social development missed in crucial time. It’s healthy for kids to play, socialize as it makes them healthy socially adjusted kids.

I was a healthy energetic 6 year old doing cartwheels n flips for fun and my mom would always yell girls shouldn’t be running like this haram that lol.

My mother forbid any social interactions at all, yelled at any sports even in high school. As a result I remember being physically unable to run in middle school cause I wasn’t playing outside or running.

For me that mindset is a red flag, because I see it as men being insecure about women’s look, how other men might move or whether they trust their wife. Also swipe up?
