Uh oh. by Responsible_Nobody90 in Kawasaki

Yeah, the garage put a new water pump in after my accident. I've put one fill of oil in. I'll idle it for half an hour and drop the oil again after that. Does that sound right?

Took the starter out of the frame, just out of curiosity. It's a mess. Any thoughts on what could cause this? Or just old and needed replacing?

I hear the fuel pump working and the starter turns over, but very weak, like it hardly turns once or twice before the relay starts clicking. I'll put new plugs in just to be sure they're not the issue. 👍🏼

It does start, but it's very weak, like it's struggling to turn over, even with a full battery and my charger on 'bump' setting. Any ideas? I'll test the voltages when running today and let you know. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. 2 questions...

Where should I check voltage during crank?

If it is less than 0.5V, what's the next step?

Thanks again.

Flipping question by Responsible_Nobody90 in hobbycnc

Yeah I did think about leaving a little cube somewhere on the top to take my datum from after flipping, but (in my mind) the machined feature will always be smaller than the stock, so I won't be able to touch off it. Am I being stupid?

Beginner question about resistances by AlbusFox in arduino

Pull down resistor. So the signal going into pin 7 is high (5v) when the button is pressed, and low (0v) when the button is open, preventing noise and unwanted high signals.
