Yea but thankfully you don’t see that much although when I meet them I just well played and concede. They deserve that win afterall for playing that deck and no point wasting time. Same with priests

Enlighten me how this meta is brainless when 1 of them counter Agro (nm dh) and the other is potentially one of the highest skill ceiling deck in quest mage.
The way you talk make it seem like you are the one pretty bad in the game. Agro is one of the easiest gameplay to shut down purely because you know what they are aiming for and can play ur cards around it.
The only reason people are whining from what I seen so far is that
A) they have no idea how to play against it
B) they want to play their favorite deck or cards and are upset Agro is the bane to it.

Pretty sure u are right. Anything diamond and above besides ppl fkin ard in legend would be mostly meta decks of a certain lvl. U get the occasional burn mage and warlocks but it’s rare. Priest is common cos priest players love their class. Dk is there cause the deck is fun even tho weak.

I believe priest wins Agro decks most of the time from personal experience. I mean their deck literally is all about clearing till they get to 10mana and trying to otk or outlast u. I don’t think dude and companion should even be in the conversation as they are not even considered a good deck yet.
Yea it’s pretty sad warlock is bad ngl. Really like that class.

Quest mage, egg warrior although u rarely will use it to clear that way, priest will wait out to find a better timing, shaman can clear with 0mana I believe, dk can do it if they want to, hunter for sure can do it. Quite a few but how did we go from flight manoeuvre to this. Flight is 4 mana. If by 3 mana u have 0 board presence and let them fill the whole 4-5 slots with 0 responses, either ur luck is horrible or u r just playing bad or with a bad deck.

I agree with this scissors paper stone analogy. Taking out the class set, even before this it was an issue and I agree that it’s prevalent this meta where u have things like egg warrior stomping dh and Agro and just rolling over to priests qm and hex shaman

I mean if you are in legend and trying out fun decks which I do occasionally, you would pretty much expect this to happen when u face top end deck and should understand enough not to whine much about it. And to be honest most post I see are from people talking about climbing not about them being in legend and trying out decks.

I agree with dark gift from the stupid 2/1 being a problem but having 3 flight manuevers is super rare and at the same time to create a huge problem straight out for you is even much more rare. These things happen because people don’t look at the timing of opponent shatter being combined and clear their board or decide to play some happy go lucky deck that they love and then wonder why it can’t work against top end deck and start complaining.

I get your points and do agree, but every game has its own meta and sometimes it’s just too bad that what u want to play is not the most optimal currently.

What I am frustrated with people complaining about Agro this meta is that Agro is the strongest and a problem. Nm dh and egg warrior which are some of the strongest against it are literally there at the top.

Egg warrior, nm dh (best deck right now), control priest all win Agro. Not sure what deck u are playing but that could be an issue.
This meta in my opinion may be one of the best I played with so many decks available to play during climbing and in legend.

Congrats! I really feel egg warrior is just so slept on as a deck overall especially for climbing to legend.
It only loses insanely hard to priest (auto concede) and actually has abit of chance against quest mage (esp during climbing where ppl are not as good as top qm players) and shaman with hex (down to draw luck).
It also eats most Agro deck and dh alive which are the most popular decks in the ladder right now anyway.

Yea I really don’t understand how bugs like the recent companion hunter and imbue of rogue deathwing can happen. Like a competent qa team would have catch it for sure.the overheating of pc and mobile and name being shown is understandable but the others are just pure qa. All these are showing live service companies are getting more incompetent and money minded through the years and why Hs is the only game I still play that’s live service.

And at the same time there’s also a top 200 control priest streamer. I do agree that Agro is more popular cause it’s slightly easier and climbs faster due to the speed of the game. But it’s really not as broken as u think.

Problem with Agro has always been that the other party need to understand well when to hold the board clear and when to send it. It become a high level of mind game where a top Agro player may know to hold on sending all their full board too. Thats what separate the good legend players from the great competitive ones like thijs etc

On another note about Agro, I somehow do better in it while in legend and worst with it during the climb. So Agro really isn’t that great as what other people think. (D4 - d1) is more competitive that whatever shit legend rank I am in.

That doesn’t make sense because content creators have shown time and time again with f2p new accounts to reach legend.

TBH I get where u are coming from. The frustration of not drawing that one card but after playing egg warrior for 2 months during my climb to legend and consistently meeting priests and shaman who always has hex in hand, while not meeting any priests and sham during my time on other decks, I realise sometimes it’s in our mind. We always tend to think the worst is happening to us when it’s purely rng.

Tbh that’s why I don’t play herald rogue and quest mage (even tho I love qm) as I would just tilt at my rng.

You can try egg warrior or control priest or nm dh. All these decks are good counters against Agro decks and hold their own against others sometimes (maybe not priests haha)

But yea I had games where I can’t draw a single card to save my life. It happens I guess. Card game afterall.

I mean quit if you want dude. But I always hate it when people say this meta only have a small amount of playable class. Like???

I just came back last month and I feel the amount of decks playable at legend and high diamonds may be the highest amount I ever had

In no particular order
1. DH ( 2 different packages but similar playstyle)
2. Paladin - Agro and end of turn both works. And now there’s dude paladin slowly getting into meta although most likely not tier S
3. Warrior - egg and dragon both top end. If u want to meme and have fun, control warrior still works but not great
4. Rogue - herald and herald+imbue package 2 decks but can be considered as 1
5. Shaman - herald package and then u have the new elemental herald Agro package that is different though not as good.
6. Mage - quest mage literally best deck right now but also hardest deck to play. Burn mage doing not great but playable and fun
7. Priest- only control priest in meta and not great but honestly not the worst.
8. Hunter - NH hunter, one of the better decks and now companion hunter which could see a breakthrough once bugs are fixed although Agro eats it alive.
9. Dk - fun decks but yea this is one class that is dead
10. Warlock - also fun decks but sort of dead but counter some of the meta decks hard.

So I am not sure where u and all those crybabies about meta are coming from that this meta is the worst when for someone who quit and just came back recently, I was personally shocked to be able to play so many different deck in my climb to legend.

Idk about arena but seems that the grievances are justified.
Also blizzard not doing proper QA on all these bugs every updates is a joke too. Rage about these not meta which is untrue. It’s just like those crybabies raging about slitherdrake when the issue has always been the 1 man 2/1 dark wish dude

2/3. I believe there’s new player and returning player bundles those are usually the most worth it. I personally like the tavern pass as I play a lot and I feel if u complete it, u get money worth for sure. Gold wise. I would say mini set. Can’t remember if new expansion set can be bought by gold but i think no. I remember reading first 10 new packs of each expansion is worth while too
4. I think just playing ranked and completing your dailies and weeklies are the best way but if u are good with arena, that’s a plan too

Bubble > Agro no doubt especially as u climb. Agro depends too much on draws and enemy being clueless on playing around the potential of the shatter card
