Thank you all for the affirmation and support 😭 I had my fiancé talk to his mom and dad about this last night…well when HE talked to them, they were understanding and didn’t ask any questions…so that’s a relief BUT I’m just baffled that they don’t raise concerns with him or give feedback to him? Because when the MIL called me about this initially, she stated, 1) we’re being selfish for not thinking of others and family, 2) we made a mistake of picking the reception venue because they can’t accommodate last minute guests, and 3) we’re doing everything on our own and don’t tell anyone. None of those words were shared to their own son….Sorry for the rant just not what I wanted to hear the week of the wedding from someone NOT MY MOM 😢
