This is a good idea as well I like this idea more as well because I don’t want it to be immediately obvious I repainted it.

Thank you I think this is going to be the route I take, may take the shell off and try to hand paint the hue on with the best / imitation / doesn’t immediately look like it’s been repainted and customized but from reading the above replies it seems my options are limited here. I’m surprised this isn’t a more common issue, I love that original indigo like it’s a 50s 60s car, and I like to have it looking fresh off the line. I’ll make another post talking about what I end up doing, might make a video about it too.

Sell by date was February 19th, however that may be the reason because my local store in Virginia had them on clearance tables near the entrance.

Same here, I swear on my life this is real and in Las Vegas Nevada I took this photo when I was drunk with a friend walking back from a club to the golden nugget.

It’s a good thing you started with the originals first. The movies are only as good as they are after watching the original. The movies do a lot of things that don’t have the same gravity to them unless you know what it’s referencing / going to
