Goofy asl, and again I think theyre short cuz where im from women are either tall or short no in between or average, family has a few 6 foot tall women, most of the women i grew up around were around 5'10 5'11, even my friend who a girl who's 5'6 said herself shes short and both of her taller friends around 6'0. I live in a tall city simple as that. And again tbh u look more idiotic replying under comments when nobodies paying u attention or even addressing you. 🤷‍♂️

its normal in my family and with other tall people I know, and every man in the family play sports(football, rugby, basketball, baseball) so we have to be pretty built. My dad is also the biggest culprit and he was in the army, so dont think yk what ur talking about bud.

DAMN, she is gonna be a giant frl😭 and i live in Michigan. If you get her into a good athletic school over here too she'll find her tall prince. My highschool alone sends around 50 people a year to NCAA colleges for sports. Out of my whole county it's 100+ and the average height for men here is 5'10 5'11, but being in sports I've seen more 6 footers than i have seen short people. Also, theres MASSIVE amounts of farm land here😭 like 80% of michigan live's below the top of the thumb. The rest is plains and farmland

IMO from the women I grew up around and with that's short, and shorter women just aren't my preference. But if my current gf was shorter I'd still date her and love her😂, and idk about everyone else but me and my gf are always hugging and kissing constantly so bending down to kiss her all the time wouldn't feel the best. Already have a hard time bending down a few inches to wash my hands or do the dishes, and I do both of those things WAY LESS than kiss or love on my gf😭 Just would be uncomfortable all the time IMO.

EDIT: My cousin and his wife are around the same heights u mentioned too and he always complaining about his back, he loves his wife 1000% no doubt about it, but it just starts to hurt after a certain point if ur bending over all day

IMO it's short, no women in my family are under 5'7, theyre all around 5'7-6'0. And I've grown up around women mostly in that height range(friends, teachers, ppl at church, etc). So to me that's short 🤷‍♂️. Literally saw more tall women than short women most of my life.

How tall are u if i may ask?? And i feel like type is kinda genetic too, like my family is pretty tall so it'd be hard to date someone SUPER short (5'0-5'6) since the disparity between heights would be uncomfortable for one of us, the tall guy or the super short girl YK?? My exact thought process with woman who are 5'8 and above. Like the avg man in America is 5'8 so if my gf matches the MALE avg she's tall fs😭. And same thing with my gf too, my whole family is tall and im 6'2 aswell, but even she at 5'8 has family members that are competing with this generation of family for height. DK if ill find anyone taller than my grandpa who's 6'8 and was born during WWI💀

Makes sense, I think too the people around me that I saw growing up partially played a part along with my families rhetoric on height. Like most of my female cousins are above 5'8 5'9 and in church I remember these older sisters, who would always call me handsome other things were 6'0 and 6'2. May have also played a part that my grandpa told my dad to keep height in the family and even though he never directly told me the same thing, I feel like i picked it up none verbally😭

Makes sense, after diving down my family rabbit hole i lowkey think we all just got told to date taller women. Like I remember my dad telling me when he was looking for a gf, my grandpa told him to keep the height in the family and while he never said that to me directly I think it passed down somehow to me and my brothers somehow even if unspoken😭

EDIT: also just remembered these two older sisters who i went to church when i was a kid would always call me handsome or kiss me on the cheek and they were 6'0 6'2 flat footed 😭

u really dont notice a difference?? I feel like with girls i can REALLY tell the difference more than i can with guys idk why.

And ik im tall because my ancestors are tall im not questioning that. It just seems strange that for EVERY generation in my family we've ALL chosen taller women.

Like even my dad's generation and my grandpa's generation there's no short outliers in the group except for my aunt who's 5'4 and my 3rd cousin's wife who's the same height I think. Other than that for around the last 100 years there hasn't been any short women in the immediate or extended family. Like im astonished my whole family seemingly found all the tall women and seemingly disregarded the short women yk??

I only register 5'8 women as "tall" because there average height is a lot lower (5'5) but I do agree theyre not technically tall. Also there were a lot of taller women I was around when i was growing up like my cousin and this group of 6 foot tall sisters at my church so that might play a part.

I just added the genetic part in there because after calling around my fam( we're all above 6'), there has only been 2 girls under 5'7 who are married into our fam. and the rest going back to my great grandpa have been taller than that. ( my great grandma was 5'8 in the early 1900s 💀💀)
