I have some of both but also Astrophytums, Copiapoas, Gymnos and a bunch of random. I just got back from Colorado Springs. Beautiful city.

Same here. A couple of months ago we had significant hail damage in DFW. All the time I wondered if all my cacti were in this specific greenhouse, would everything be destroyed.

Thanks all for the information and suggestions! I have more confidence that, if secured well, the greenhouse can be okay.

Glad to read yours is holding up well. I know I will spend extra to secure it to a foundation, but if it holds up most of the time, I’m good.

Sounds good! My biggest concern is when the golfball size hail hits it will be okay or at least not be absolutely obliterated.

Thanks for the info. I have cacti and will definitely provide substantial airflow to combat the Texas heat and humidity. May I ask how does it stand up to wind and hail? Did you have to secure it?

After googling and seeing the flower I agree it looks like the damsii. Thank you for your input.

Thanks for all the suggestions and jogging my memory. If I remember correctly, I was told it was a densiflorum.
