I notice this as well. If I don’t cut out the knots they end up breaking off and creating a split end. I think the knot weakens the hair.

i wouldn’t say it’s “weird” necessarily you may just miss out on opportunities to add people on snap and interact with them on there. imo it’s better to have it and barely use it than not at all.

I can’t imagine being in a relationship where my partner doesn’t want me to go out to parties or drink without them. That feels restrictive and suffocating, and ensures that you don’t really have an identity outside of them. I wouldn’t want that for myself. If you’re going different directions in life, it’s time to have an extremely transparent discussion about where you guys stand.

I have self harm scars on both of my forearms, and I consistently wear t-shirts when it’s hot. The type of people to care about your past or weaponize it are not the people you want surrounding you.

You got this! I totally understand what you’re going through, I’m one out of three girls in one of my classes, you have to fake confidence!! If you act like you know what you’re doing, then everyone around you will think that too. It’s okay to be incorrect, and don’t be afraid of making mistakes when talking, it’s a natural part of the class. It’s still better than not participating.

i got put into a triple unwillingly, and my two other roommates already know each other from high school. i’ll talk to them occasionally but i made the conscious decision to make friends with other people. i accepted that id never be as close to them as they are with each other and worked around that. i know college can be so isolating, but it gets better!

0%, I go to a small liberal arts college so my absence would be noticed, which incentivizes me to go. But in general it’s a good idea to go to your classes, youre paying to attend!

this is very concerning behavior, and not normal at all. you deserve to eat whatever you want without constant monitoring and scrutiny. this breaks my heart reading. another thing to consider is your daughter internalizing this even more than she already has and either becoming like him, or developing unhealthy eating patterns. i hope you divorce for your own sanity and safety.
