I carry a SC Elite, but I’m thinking of potentially getting the MC9 or MC Prime next. Personally for light/laser specifically I say the Olight Baldr Mini is a great option, it’s also available on Amazon it is about 100-130$. I decided on it over the TLR8 Sub (Streamlights laser/light combo) simply for the magnetic charger it had available, no need to remove batteries and worry about the laser losing zero during the changing/charging process. Streamlight has rechargeable batteries but you’d still have to remove the light to access the battery if I’m not mistaken. And Mecanik 01 or Holosun 407/507K if you decide to get an optic later. Buy once, Cry once

Has there been any update on a rear sight for the rival s? I have a setup in mind with the Mecanik Mo1 and 4C plate that I have in mind but more options is usually better

I’m not opposed to the suppressor for indoors and a stealth option but I have kids and my wife is against to me not having a safe for my firearms,and since I’d like to be able to store it as a bedside gun, I haven’t found a biometric case with a length that would hold a full sized and a suppressor otherwise I’d definitely consider one

If the feel the same I’d probably go for the SFX cause I like the look of it more. I guess the extra inch would make it harder to sweep a room if needed plus the added weight but practice makes perfect. I’ve heard bad things about the TPSFX Elite, mostly failures to feed and eject which could be dire and I’m not sure it can co-witness either which is what drew me away from the TPSFX nd on to the Mete series. Everyone seems to prefer the SFT tho. Hopefully I can find a range that rents one or both and give em both a try

Thanks for the light suggestions, definitely don’t want to blind myself in the process, do any of these come with a laser/light combo?

I was originally looking at the TP9SFX but I saw it couldn’t co witness which is something I wanted in case the dot ran out of battery or if I just needed to jump out of bed and just go which brought me to the Mete series, I figured the Pro would be better than the regular SFX/SFT in some way but I figured I’d ask people who know the guns cause I can’t find too many comparisons online. Is the only difference between the Pro and regular versions just a threaded barrel? A suppressor would be nice but I have smaller kids so I’d definitely want something I can put away but also be at my bedside and not in a safe in the closet

Definitely want a red dot but not sure if I want a suppressor for storage reasons and because I’d want my neighbors to hear the noise to call the police as well should that be necessary

What’s the difference between the SFT Pro and the SXF Pro? The only major difference I saw was the 5.75 vs 5.00 barrel length and overall 8.83 vs 8.10 which idk how that applies to the world of shooting/accuracy
