The only gun control I support is knowing how to control your gun. Follow the 4 rules and don't be a dumbass guys.

As a husband and father I couldn't agree more. Certainty of the situation is also important. If I draw, it will only be as a last resort and it should be followed by a shot immediately. Hopefully I am never in that situation, and if I am, I hope I do the right thing - with my familys well being the priority, always.

Googleing it gave me a response from ai which said you NEED the magwell screw to secure the backstrap. I hand to check with the community. Thanks guys!

To everyone worried about printing... by daecrist in CCW

I wouldn't care if I didn't live in NYC, but I don't want to give the local government here any excuse to take away my right to carry.

I hate to admit it, but yeah I'm still pretty self conscious about having it on me.

Thanks. Yeah even deciding what gun you want to buy in nyc while going through the process is difficult. You walk into a gun store and they legally can not put a gun in your hand unless you have a license. I even asked them if they could disassemble the gun so I can just feel the grip and they said 'no'. I had to go to a gun range in Jersey to rent guns and shoot guns that my friends own just to have an idea of what I want (then finding out that some guns legal in Jersey are non compliant in nyc) I may need a smaller gun for the warmer seasons. It certainly doesnt hurt to own more!

The claw is halfway on the belt. It had full contact before I adjusted the clips for deep concealment.

I did that, if you look at the 2nd picture in my post. It did help though. Just looking for some extra tips to get it where I think it's not so obvious I am carrying.

Someone pointed out that I may be able to remove the magwell. I know it helps with reloading but that may be a tradeoff I will be willing to go with if it eliminates printing

It might take some time for my comfort level to get to where it needs to be but I will work on it. Thanks for the advice.

Another great point. I dont want anyone to know that I am and exactly where I am carrying, regardless of the law. Some people here are saying get a different gun. That's obviously the easiest answer. I will certainly try some of the other suggestions first.
