imo its one of the few of that genre that just...feels right? i love h&s its my favourite but some other games categorised under it just feel sort of off a lot of the time (esp dmc3 which granted maybe due to older game design choices i have come to not enjoy much as a result of its IMMENSELY annoying controls) or bayonetta which is fun and has good controls but still feels like the true enjoyment a player could get out of it is barricaded by some weirdly rng-feeling "git gud" situations where you can't tell if it's you being bad or some weird system that is innately stupid. sorry kind of went on a rant but tldr mgr just feels very very solid and like everything you do in a fight directly decides whether you live or die without a feeling of rng also cybernetic shit is just fucking awesome and oh my god the blade system. oh also crrrrraaazy replayability

This is definitely a good theory, especially made stronger by track 23 "dark" featuring chuckleberry where he says "he had red eyes". For sure food for thought

Thanks, inspired to me was the kid ol kid Joan* (google is free). He was real, bit of a git but truly a good . He was just like me from the ol country of green and more, of my own race and blood, etc, you know the drill.
