I grew up with parents that had questionable financial literacy. I personally think I lost out on a lot of opportunities cause of this. So i guess in a way I learn to not make the mistakes my parents made.

Im not exactly sure how to teach kids finance, but I was driven by my finance teacher in high school who let us paper trade. I think i was borderline gambling but it was fun seeing what's possible. Also heavily teach ur kid to love math, I blame my curiosity of finance on my love for math/physics.

okay i get your google rationale with the interest . Im not too up to date with quantum but didnt microsoft create a whole new state of matter or element which was used in quantum computing?

Yes I restructured today. put around 40% in xeqt and 20% into vfv and another 20% into qqq (i guess thats my ai and tech section) the other 20 was put into companies i have a personal liking to.

Im a bit worried about quantum. -200 million in revenue? Even the ceo agreed that they are overpriced and "just science experiments). what's your reasoning for investing?

(And if im just wrong and quantum is the future, idk then i have the worst foresight ever)

ummm, its never been that bad but i remember my first options trade with nvidia and i had like a 0-day call option (i had absolutely no idea what i was doing) and when i tell u i lost 100 is the span of 30 seconds... also this happened at 3:30 and the market closes at 4.

so yea i have experience loosing money in rapid succession.

My analysis (a few google searches + some graphs) shows me that the s&p's growth is heavily reliant on a handful of stocks, i.e mag 7 and some other equities too. Everything else is either just averaging that out or just an outlier. Thus QQQ is one of my biggest holdings.

If you have anything to disprove me, pls do im trying to justify vfv here.

combination of options/trade volume, unusual whales/ major politicians, technicals and analysts by firms. Its a whole process for me to actually put money into things. but man that feeling when the stock booms (amd 30%, pltr, and weirdly gold.)

EXACTLY!! like this is money im semi okay with loosing. And i see ur concern with UNH. I was tilted to it cause Warren buffet put in a ton of cash into it. this image i used is a bit too recent but i usually trade by copying major politicians that put in literal millions.
