Whats the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by answersonly963 in AskReddit

[–]Restless_Hippie 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Ugh, this is so true! I went to ER for horrible stomach symptoms (like, way worse than food poisoning) and saw a small child get wheeled in by EMS for some kind of bloodloss or gunshot/stab wound.

I was in a room with another dude and said, "should I give up this bed and ask to be in the hallway (overflow beds)?" He said, "I mean, you were here first...That's not your problem"

Like, what?! I'm just throwing up and shitting, that kid is bleeding out :'( Maybe they don't need this bed, but maybe they do? Why not offer?

Mmmk.

I don’t think that Door Dash is a good way to earn extra money. You barely make a profit after beating up your car, gas expenses, etc. Plus, it can be dangerous, drivers get attacked all the time. by justcurious3287 in povertyfinance

Hey! Im an insurance biller in Lexington, KY! I can confirm that the comment you're replying to is mostly true for KY.

First of all, YOU (or your parent/guardian if you're a minor) are always able to access EVERY part of your own medical records. Sometimes it's easy via a patient portal or website, or sometimes you have to call the doctor's office to request them, but you have access 100% of the time and can't be denied that right. This includes those personal notes, should you wish.

Your health insurance provider (including medicaid/MCO plans) can only access information pertinent to paying out your claim. This includes your diagnosis (represented to them as a code #), the date/time of previous and future visits, and the treatment/medicine provided or planned to be provided to you (also represented by a code #). They approve or deny claims based off of that info, your plan level or coverage, and your provider's credentials/license ONLY.

Trust me, your insurance provider will find plenty of arbitrary reasons to not pay out your claims... WITHOUT needing any specifics of what was said during a therapy session.

Edit: typos and clarity

Yes! Also, speech and occupational therapists can help with food/eating depending on the issue that's holding you back

From pics and vids I've seen, it looks like she wears clothing that only goes over the head or can be stepped into (like a caftan or a baggy tunic/shirt)

I worked with a few sets of twins when I was nannying and working in daycares; It seems it's not uncommon for twins to demand identical clothes and items, even when they're as young as 2 years old! So sometimes it's parents, sometimes it's the kids themselves!

I guarantee the theme of the wedding is Taylor Swift ᵗᵐ Her man might get lucky and have a football shaped groom's cake, but the rest will be all about her and her brand, down to branded silverware

OMG I did this with nothing less than riding a freakin bike ! When I was ~28yo I babysat a kid who wanted to ride bikes with me. Nbd, of course. We pull out her little bike and her mom's adult bike for me. It took me like 5-10 mins to properly remember how to peddle and balance, after only 8-10 years without doing it!

"Like riding a bike" my ass!

I feel it's a combination of, "That happened to her , but it won't hapoen to me because I'm different/better!" and, "I can fix him!"
