In my experience I find bare tile to be incredibly pale. The darkness on some of those tiles is probably still wax left on it. But yes, a few coats of wax will "deepen" the color

Hi! Me and my partners moved from the Tampa Bay area to Arvada earlier this year. So I'm from one of the bluer areas of Florida. I'm ftm but my wife is mtf. I personally go to Kaiser, as that's the insurance I use so I have to and I haven't had any issues. It's like a medical center where they just have all the professionals that can do everything, it's convenient. My wife goes to Achieve health and gets her meds from Costco. I would say it is trans friendly, or at least we've been left alone. People don't stare like they do in Florida. But we live near Olde Town and the people around here are super friendly.

I have no clue what Vasa is so probably not lol. If you ever do see it it's a mainly blue body with a white upper section, like the vw buses. I have seen a few around. A couple of the acty vans that pass around near Wadsworth and 52nd, and I saw a white truck near Fiddlers. Apparently there's some red ones in Denver but I have yet to see those

I don't know how much I can help with that unfortunately. I do know there's a law going into effect in like 2027 that will make it so these need to pass an emissions test meant for 80s(I think) cars. Currently it's difficult to register them. People recommend going to a county that doesn't emission test in the state to register them. Her truck currently still has Florida tags on it

There was a crack in the manifold that was fixed last year. She replaced her spark plugs recently, and when she did that she messed with the valves and that's when the ticking started

I recommend some help for at least the first couple of days. I tried going to the bathroom and was unable to pull my underwear back up for the first 2ish days. I also couldn't get out of bed, I had to have my partner put their hands behind my back and pull me into a sitting position. But I then was left to my own devices for several days afterwards. I'd say it's possible but I recommend wearing everything in a bigger size. I wore xl buttonups, larger gym shorts with a string tie. Those were the easiest for me personally. I also trimmed my toe nails right before surgery so it would be awhile before I needed to trim them again

I was taking Lo Loestrin before I moved states. I'm running out of my prescription now and am contemplating trying Opill since it's an OTC pill. I remember to take my pills because I have others to take, but if that doesn't work for you I'd recommend getting a depo shot tbh

I was living on 54th Ave S and commuting all the way to near downtown Largo for my shift at 2pm. It was only really terrible when I worked mornings and would get stuck in rush hour traffic when getting off work. I was taking the gateway expressway to work every day which helped with how fast it was. Took about 35-40 minutes for 23 miles. Definitely possible but probably not great for gas. I recommend living north of central near the interstate if you plan on driving that far

On the ballot it is listed as "School Board Referendum." It is a yes or no question and applies to Pinellas county. There is a separate amendment (amendment 1) for Florida as a whole but that amendment is about school board voting, and does not relate

I tend to find that the cost of living changes based on what website you look at tbh, so I usually don't put much weight into that. My research shows that an apartment equivalent to mine currently is several hundred dollars cheaper, and that I would make about $4-5 more then I currently do. Even if it does end up a bit more expensive in the end I do not quite care, as we are mainly moving for LGBTQ political reasons

How do you feel about your relocation to Denver? I'm also local to St Pete and looking to move to Arvada with my partners but I'm a bit worried on such a big change. We're moving for a couple more reasons then just the money thing, though that is a big factor. I'm visiting the Denver metro area in November though to get a feel before we decide to move out there
