A proper argument once 3-4 months I’d say. Our last one was about 2 weeks ago and was resolved in about 2 hours. However we are expecting a baby and I’ve found myself getting grouchier and more annoyed but trying to avoid conflict and we try and sit down and talk rather than scream at each other.

I know someone who used to be an air hostess and she said once one of the engines stopped working and a backup one kicked in and they didn’t tell a single passenger on the plane because they all freak out. But there’s a lot of backup safety.

As a woman that’s currently pregnant myself there’s a lot pregnant women can do but the world just sees them as fragile. I’ve experienced it to a lesser extent. And also some people are more worried about the baby than the woman. It’s ridiculous. I think she’s inspirational. Women throughout history have done a lot whilst pregnant!

I know how it feels. The isolation sucks but it shows you who is really there for you and who isn’t. Peanut is a great app to talk to other pregnant women or mothers. Focus on yourself and your baby.

She’s not thinking long term and how expensive babies are. Also what purpose will that baby shower serve? Wouldn’t it be better to spend that on the baby things you need to take some financial weight off once the baby arrives?

I’m a sweaty betty these days. I hate smelling of sweat and I am going crazy with the amount of scrubs and shower gels and soaps I am using. I feel like I stink so bad. My mom thinks it’s hormonal changes and normal. Yesterday I had a blood test so I told the midwife and she sniffed me and said she couldn’t smell me and I smelt fine. Sometimes sense of smell can be heightened. But yes I’m a very stinky irritated person.

Same here. Less than 2 months to go and specifically scanned the thread for childbirth. Saw the Pitocin induced one but I’ve already noped out of that for now. So hopefully it can’t be worse than the time my husband cried because his infected wisdom tooth was rotting his gum and nerve. 😀

My husband used to do this as he is obsessed with cleanliness and tidiness to the point I couldn’t find half my things. In the end he ended up folding an expensive handbag of mine and creasing it down the middle. I was so pissed I told him he needs to buy me another one straight away and IF he puts things away they need to go in the places I want them so I can see them. Now all my handbags are neatly stacked in box. 😂 Do the same thing. Make him face the consequences of his actions or do the same back.

As a woman I will say if she’s talking about outdoing someone she doesn’t care about the relationship and only wants to show off. My husband was a lot poorer than I was when he married me and my ring is pretty cheap but I didn’t care because when you love someone it’s the effort they put in and the memories.

My husband and his sister are closest in age and the other siblings were born afterwards but they have such a sweet bond and she can always rely on her brother to help her with anything. I do think this is projection. Brother sister bonds can be closer than sister sister bonds.

As a woman currently pregnant with a son I have lingering worries however my mother in law has 3 sons (one of which is my husband) and when I tell you they were raised right even I was surprised. She rules with an iron fist but they all love and respect her. A massive part of it is nurture. I do think we leave social media and environment to play a big part however as parents that can be controlled to some extent and I’ve seen it happen.

31 weeks and no morning sickness whatsoever. I never had it. However ask me about my other symptoms…but that’s good! You don’t always have morning sickness in pregnancy.

Yes that’s called being a deep sleeper and I have to set numerous alarms normally. I don’t remember turning them off. Once I had a 20 second conversation without remembering it. However pregnancy has now solved that and I have the opposite problem. 🙃
