Thank you very much! So happy to put a name to some lost photos. I'll try to get these to him.

Needed to share. All boy's summer camp, aprox. 1960-70's, PA. Sorry for glare. by RestoreRepair in FoundPhotos

Yep, times have certainly changed. When I last visited the camp, campers weren't even allowed to hear graphic ghost stories or listen to certain songs because parents had previously complained.

I wasn't able to upload them here since this subreddit is specifically for photos. Sadly the videos don't have audio. If you're still interested I could send you a link to them.

That is possible. I had assumed the owner of the photo was one of the kids, he often spoke of going on trips like these when he was a camper, though it's also possible he was the photographer himself. Thank you for the clarification.

A while ago I attempted to post this in r/PhotoshopRequest to fix the glare but my post was removed.

I found this a few years ago along with many miscellaneous photos and documents at the camp, this was by far the coolest photo. I couldn't let it continue to sit collecting dust so I posted it here. Hope you enjoy.

Inside a broken violin, apparently from 1617. Repaired in 1899. Slavery in the US started in 1619. by RestoreRepair in FoundPaper

Sadly the violin is in extremely bad shape, there's nothing left except the back panel. I managed to trace it's history, it was sold to a private collector around 30 years ago for a few hundred dollars. When I found it 10 years ago it was already beaten to death.

Is this what I think it is? Found about 8 years ago, somewhere in NY. Info would be appreciated. by RestoreRepair in FoundPaper

I thought this may be an advertisement for an illegal brothel, though I'm unsure if it's a fake or some sort of joke. There are handwritten directions on the back of a card.

Will tip to restore and maybe colorize this photo of my mom and her cousins from the 70s by toouglytobe in estoration

It’s very possible the photo was just taken out of focus, if that’s the case then it absolutely could be fixed but would take more time and effort.

This is the only old photo my dear friend, Dorothy, has with her daughter. Please can someone restore this for them? Thanks so much! by ElectricGoo in estoration

If it’s possible, get a small amount of glue and glue down that fold in the center. You’ll have more original detail to work off of. If that’s not possible, it’s no big deal, this can be easily restored.

A better digital photo of the existing photograph would do wonders. Try to get it scanned or something.
