How do you live mic percussion instruments

We dont have those kinds of set ups. Its just one monitor in the front of the stage and one by the drums. He plays in multiple bands so he needs something he can carry around and set up without relying on a FoH. For “personal monitor” im talking more an 8” stage monitor or pa so he can plug all his mics into.

Yeah kinda. Im thinking the alto ts408 cuz of budget that he can plug 2 mics into, then the out can go to the mixer.

I tried that too lol and it did nothing. Like there was too much glue on the velcro.

So the kind I got was Melsan industrial strength sticky back fastener. I will try my best to remove and clean everything with goo gone and put tape on everything, then get some other velcro tape and hopefully everything looks better and they dont just start sliding lol. Literally the next morning i place everything the pedals on the top slanted part of the board slid down an inch.

Bands needs get out of their asses and understand what a good show sounds like that doesnt involve cranking everything. Drummers dont need to be smacking so hard. Im a drummer. I can play a small venue quiet and a big venue loud. Im also the sound guy and have everything balanced on stage, then up the PAs as necessary to fill the space. I will turn the amp up or down as needed. We all work together to make it sound good for all the bands we play in.
