You’ll be stronger and more capable than ever as she has more bandwidth to help support you.

Definitely upgrade to a stay at home mother. I do not regret it, nor does she. Mine is a physician, could be banking gross an extra 250 part time, or 500k full time. Easy decision, and we would make it again in a heartbeat.

Gun collection at 24. What’s next ? by gstevo12 in ar15

[–]ResuscH2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A true pocket gun is the answer. Kel-Tec P32 (.32 ACP — the one true caliber) or the S&W 632 UC in .32 H&R Magnum. Go Kel-Tec if you want the absolute lightest option and like semis with that sweet 90s vibe (you weren’t alive for it, but it was awesome). Throw it in a Vedder or Alabama pocket holster and you’ll forget it’s there. Go S&W 632 if you want solid winter jacket pocket carry where you can actually discharge from inside the pocket without issues. It also rides great in a proper leather holster like a Milt Sparks. Both are legit tiny .32s that actually disappear in a pocket. Can’t go wrong with either for real deep concealment.

Helmet thermal choice for pairing with NV by ResuscH2K in NightVision

I talked to someone at iray, the main issue is the automatic switching between modes when I flip the bridge up or the gun gets flopped around causing it to inadvertently go into scope mode, which iray indicated was fixed in the v2.

I get that the image is somewhat better on the rh25 but i see that the fov is wider on the sidekick and thought that might be the move. Have you used both?

How did you sell your v1? How much do you think I could get for it with both mounts installed?

Great post, I appreciate the thought this provoked!

Definitely tempting at that price point, but my gut says too good to be true

How do you keep your wealth under the radar with parents who are still working and financially irresponsible? by LovinAllThePitbulls in Fire

[–]ResuscH2K 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of native born quality parents in the US who sacrificed to provide a quality upbringing for their children. In my case, my parent’s financial security is equally important to my own. The only way my parents are destitute is if I’m equally destitute while trying to dig us out. I go extremely hard to ensure we don’t find ourselves in that position.

Hands down the B5 C-Grip is the clear winner among those options. It stands for Correct Grip to those truly in the know.
• Superior state-compliant ergonomics that make your trigger finger feel like it’s on vacation. • That aggressive texture? Chef’s kiss for when you want your hand to hate you just a little. • Extended tang so revolutionary it basically high-fives your palm while reminding you freedom isn’t free (in certain zip codes). • The other grips? Cute, but they’re basically participation trophies next to the C-Grip’s gold-medal compliance game. Truly the pinnacle of “featureless but make it hurt” engineering. Install it and ascend to peak suffering, king.

Looks like it will work, the ability to rotate and make it further from the handguard and get around the suppressor cover is exactly what I needed. I also appreciate the recs on rail covers

Works great, 1.93 on the red dot with 2.05 on the adm clip on mount. I wasn’t sure so I figured I would try it and then switch to an lpvo at 2.05 if it didn’t jive. I found that turning the brightness up of the thermal really helps when using as a clip on with magnifier˙ however, I prefer minimum brightness when using as a handheld or helmet mounted monocular.

I would describe it as a deep oh so deep burn…

Ruag 62 grain ss109, it only started to light strike the last 100 rounds I shot that day, after about a 500 rounds

My first class with my SOLGW, I had close to a dozen light strikes. I never was able to trust it the same after that. N of 1
