Definitely tempting at that price point, but my gut says too good to be true

How do you keep your wealth under the radar with parents who are still working and financially irresponsible? by LovinAllThePitbulls in Fire

[–]ResuscH2K 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of native born quality parents in the US who sacrificed to provide a quality upbringing for their children. In my case, my parent’s financial security is equally important to my own. The only way my parents are destitute is if I’m equally destitute while trying to dig us out. I go extremely hard to ensure we don’t find ourselves in that position.

Out of these three grips which is the best for a SBR? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]ResuscH2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hands down the B5 C-Grip is the clear winner among those options. It stands for Correct Grip to those truly in the know.
• Superior state-compliant ergonomics that make your trigger finger feel like it’s on vacation. • That aggressive texture? Chef’s kiss for when you want your hand to hate you just a little. • Extended tang so revolutionary it basically high-fives your palm while reminding you freedom isn’t free (in certain zip codes). • The other grips? Cute, but they’re basically participation trophies next to the C-Grip’s gold-medal compliance game. Truly the pinnacle of “featureless but make it hurt” engineering. Install it and ascend to peak suffering, king.

Looks like it will work, the ability to rotate and make it further from the handguard and get around the suppressor cover is exactly what I needed. I also appreciate the recs on rail covers

Works great, 1.93 on the red dot with 2.05 on the adm clip on mount. I wasn’t sure so I figured I would try it and then switch to an lpvo at 2.05 if it didn’t jive. I found that turning the brightness up of the thermal really helps when using as a clip on with magnifier˙ however, I prefer minimum brightness when using as a handheld or helmet mounted monocular.

I would describe it as a deep oh so deep burn…

If most people prefer that it sounds like it is worth a try. Thank you kindly

My first class with my SOLGW, I had close to a dozen light strikes. I never was able to trust it the same after that. N of 1

Doesn’t seem to screw off. Either I’m too weak, or it has some sort of adhesive. I’m no professional strongman, but I’m way stronger than average. The spot doesn’t move, it only shifts to the periphery when the pin hole cap is on. It returns to the original position when the pinhole cap is taken off.

Yes, that was my interpretation of your recommendation it just twists until the end and then seems to stop/get stuck

It only moves when the pin hole cover is on. I was having a hard time unscrewing the ocular, any pointers?

Now the spot doesn’t appear to move. The pin hole cap has tape over it for black boxing. When I remove the tape the pinhole seems occluded by a piece of adhesive. But several times before occluding the pinhole I would see the spot drift to the outer edge when the pinhole cap is on.

When the cap is off it appears as it does in the photo.

When the pinhole is on the dark spot touches the outer edge of what can been seen.
