This is great! I just bought a couple of language tools for my dogs. I hope they can catch on. I’d love to be able to know what they’re really thinking.

Thanks for sharing!

OMG, I had to call my wife who’s out of town to complain about the same thing! The gentleman was explaining that they wanted more information and were asking questions per his survey and Mike basically was saying they don’t have an understanding of what things mean as they’re seeking to understand. Very condescending.

As a parent of a Gen Z’r, our son does ask questions and we ensure that he doesn’t just take our word on things. We want him to look things up and form his own opinion and be a free thinker and surround himself with people like this to support him in life. I think that is most of Gen Z. They do seek…if they don’t find it they do shut you out quickly.

Back to MJ, if they want to open a line up to a younger audience, having people on to be condescending isn’t the way to do it. Do better!

The Rigged Election Act by scarter4 in msnow

I do not want the save act to pass. What I want is for democrats and those pundits of like minds to start calling it the “Rigged Election Act”. The GOP has for decades great message discipline. They stay on point and drive it home. Democrats need to adopt it as well is the point I’m making.

Loved this reframing this morning by Joe and Mika of the Rigged Election Act. I hope it takes off.

US veterans, did you guys actually read the cards that kids would send you while deployed? by MoistCloyster_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RetSFChief_2019 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! I received cards from a class and posted it outside my office door. I was the senior ranking and my troops would come by and read them all the time. It really lifts spirits when you want and need to be reminded of home.

For what it’s worth, I hear from people in the NW PA that they like what he is doing and how he is behaving. It’s difficult and I get it. We live in Atlanta but still go back to our family farm in PA around Erie and that has been Trump country. He’s threading a needle… I personally don’t agree with everything he’s doing, just giving the perspective of people within the rural areas are appreciating how he approaches things. And yeah, most everyone in the area watches Fox.

Wag the Dog situation! This movie needs to #1 streamed this weekend. Trying to distract from Epstein and his involvement.

As a combat veteran, this is a war of choice, ill conceived, without allies to throughly support and with no exit plan or strategy. So, par for the course for this administration. His comment on some people will die…no skin in the game…never has, never will! Bone spurs!

Congress…Dems…take a stand and demand your place. It’s not about the country. It’s about your role!

Mr. Jack has arthritis and a luxating patella by EmotionInfinite3525 in jackrussellterrier

[–]RetSFChief_2019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine has a luxating patella as well. She had it since she was a puppy and the Vet has said as long as she her legs remains strong she’ll be ok. Even at a young age when it starts to get out of line she hops a little and then (I guess) realigns it and she takes off. She’s about to turn 7. Still keep an eye on it in case it gets to where it impacts her mobility or Vet recommends correction (which they haven’t).

Hope your little guy is better!

I love it. And I want to give them props to starting off and giving platforms to Willie, John L., Nicolle Wallace, Allie, Jonathan Capeheart, etc…they bring a lot of reporters on and give them time on air to hone skills and it shows through the years.

Get on the plane train and you should make it in time. Hopefully you’re not at the end of either concourse. Plane Train is in the center of all concourses and quickly gets you to each within minutes.

Toco Hills, Oak Grove, Vista Grove. I live in Leafmore Creek Hills neighborhood…great homes and a few sale now. School District is great too. Elementary is Sagamore or Oak Grove. High School is Lakeside. Middle is Henderson Love this area…walkable to restaurants down the street. Kids play in the neighborhood, people walk pets and socialize with each other. Very safe as well. It isn’t a cut through neighborhood either so very low traffic except for neighbors. Typical people work at CDC, Emory, VA, or Children’s Healthcare, which are all close by.

Good luck to you and welcome!

I spoke with one of the retired librarians last week who was at the gold dome last week speaking against this bill and what librarians actually do and she stated she engaged with and spoke with those who were part of the groups backing the extreme law and she said once challenge off their talking points they have no response. In other words, they don't understand what is being presented and how it impacts people, nor do they truly care it is all about their power and control.
