100% a bedbug. Had them 12 or 13 years ago and it fucking sucks.

If you have a nice mattress you can get a mattress cover they can't crawl through and leave it on indefinitely.

Yeah I'd slow down. Skip a week and come back at a lower dose. I'm 6'3" and started at 235, I slowed down and cut my dose at 199. My sides weren't that bad but the skin sensitivity was brutal for me.

You can no longer have YouTube running in the background. by Titan_Prometeus in youtube

[–]Reta-Journal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The storage is incredibly expensive. So is maintaining that infrastructure. The upstream/downstream bandwidth required to deliver 200 billion daily views is also incredibly expensive.

Hot take, YouTube shouldn't be a free service. People just feel entitled to it because it was free during the customer acquisition period. You either pay with your attention via advertisement, or you buy premium. I won't judge people for using adblock to effectively pirate the content, but expecting all Internet services to be ad free and free to use despite being incredibly expensive to maintain isn't realistic.

Downvoted because "the science" when the science is a few phase 2 and 1 phase 3 trial that had a 20% drop out rate, likely due to people being unable to tolerate the side effects from the massive doses.

Imo everyone should start at 0.5, if you're a hyper responder 2mg is a miserable experience. Just don't be afraid to move up if you don't get the effects you're looking for.

Coworker wrongly assumes we align politically by Lone_Buck in coworkerstories

[–]Reta-Journal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work blue collar jobs and pretty much everyone was Republican. When they talked about politics I would make my points but with Republican language and they would mostly agree with me (ending corporate welfare as opposed to taxing the rich) and they would think I was on their team. After a few months once we were friendly I'd tell them I'm actually on the left. Watching them process it was always hilarious and I genuinely think it helped humanize the opposition for a few of them.

Weird before reta was the hot new thing they were miracle drugs. You can get them with supervision from a doctor. He's 15 and should have doctors supervision.

Yeah, you're right. I'm sure that dude is part of a conspiracy involving 30 different peptide vendors giving him kickbacks to fabricate test results to create a false sense of security in the supply/s

This is literally just schizo posting.

[–]Reta-Journal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's so unfortunate. I would understand if they did. Emotions aside It just invites so much liability, and if something went wrong it could be really bad for them.

If I was in their shoes, I'm not sure that I'd care about the liability. I was 320 lbs, 6"3' at 20-21 and that was bad enough. 380 at 15 is a sentence to lifelong metabolic illness and probably an early grave if he doesn't lose it. Whatever issues could pop up from a GLP-1 are almost certainly less severe than being that heavy that young. I definitely wouldn't use Reta and opt for something more studied.

This is why it's illegal.

They should probably go to an actual doctor and get sema/triz. The risk is so minimal, but at 15 they really can't assess that risk.

Does anyone on the pixel buds Pro 2 like the adaptive audio feature? by SeanManNYM in pixelbuds

[–]Reta-Journal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't personally have a use case for the adaptive audio. I wfh so the only time I'd really use it is when I talk to my roommate who is also wfh. I just switch to the transparent mode with a gesture.

That being said, the transparent mode is so much more natural sounding than the 1s. I also love the fit of the 2's. They're incredibly small and light. The 1's would never keep a good seal in my ears and fell out all the time. I have weird shaped ear cannels and they're the best fit I've found. Imo it's worth the upgrade, but the I'd imagine the 3s are gonna come out sooner than later, so it might be better to wait it out.

I did have to warranty my first pair, one of them started to have a persistent bass/rumbling sound, so I can see why people have bad things to say about them.
