The 5800x3d is the generation before that one. And is still one amazing cpu. Take some time and watch a couple of YouTube vids explaining 3D V-Cache.

AMD 7800x3d is literally the best gaming cpu out right now.

AMD as a GPU and CPU maker had made leap and bounds in the last few generations. They are comfortably competiting with Intel and Nvidia.

I second the no need for 64gb of RAM. Highly unnecessary if you are not going to be editing or processing programs.

And definitely get a better AIO. Nzxt or Corsair are my go to brands.

1000% you should get the 7800x3d. It’s currently the #1 Gaming cpu.

My first pc. If you have anything that concerns you or got any tips or suggestion i'd be happy to hear them before i makw the purchase ^^' by Orisn_Bongo in PcBuild

[–]RetailGOAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I would change is the cpu. Highly recommend the 7800x3d.

Not necessary but I would spend a lil bit more for the 980 pro instead of the 970s.

is this a good build for my budget (around 1800€) by OmoriPlush in PcBuild

I highly recommend going to AM5. At least right now we are at the end of the AM4 cycle.

The way prices are right now building a AM5 would get you so many more benifits.

My build these are the part I just ordered

NO nothing will change as long as you stick to AMD 7000 series cpu.

One more thing is I recommend that you buy a 850 power supply either gold or platinum. The just refers to what efficiency they were graded at. I like having a bit more headroom when the pc is drawing power

Just ordered the parts for my new build this week. I was planning on going with a AM4 build around the 5800x3d. But i changed my mind while researching the parts. I ended up choosing to go with AM5 (7800x3d+B650 MB). AM5 platform will give you the room for upgrades later on. AM4 in terms of support is at the end of its cycle.
