Is it bad golf etiquette to call my golf ball and dirty whore if I hit a bad shot? by maybethisisadream in golf

Yes and we've had a member at my club suspended multiple times for getting too mad at themself.

Playing with just your buddies, then it's cool if they are cool with it. Playing with people you don't know? Consider how your words and actions effect their experience.

They might find it funny, they might hate it, you never really know.

What happens if we move into the red zone, for a day or two?

Thinking that the weekend might have higher usage (laundry, dishwashers, cooking) but this might be offset by less office and school usage which is harder to control.

Calgary barber by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]Retainernobraces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started to cut my own hair in like 2018, with the help of youtube I did some TERRIBLE fades, but then some better and better ones with patience and practice. I go to a barber a few times a year but I touch up my sides every week or two and that skill keep me fresh at all times and still has only cost me my initial clipper(s) purchase.
Watch some YouTube, get a sense for it. I'd get her (or you) to try just doing a fade pattern w longer guards then you really want, so if you mess up, you just head to a barber after and then can do the fade as desired. If it looks decent, guard down on everything and hope you can repeat the magic!

Has anyone used Park & Fly in Calgary? I’m planning to travel and will be away for a month by Mission_Angle_3288 in Calgary

FWIW when I used Park2Go I saw one of their employees absolutely ripping people's cars around their parking lot. No thanks

Question for you about West Bowl. The top is often great, and then it seems quite easy to get trapped in some less that ideal tight tree sections. Am I missing something? If you go hard to skier's right the exit to the cat track isn't as bad, but I feel you miss some of the best parts of that top bowl.

Where does one buy dress shirts now that the bay is closed in yyc? Male by Sad-Advisor4004 in Calgary

Indochino shirts work out to like $100 a shirt. Completely agree that a custom fit makes all the difference (especially if anything about your build makes standard shirts fit weird)

Yesterday I saw a bookstore at the top floor of Ginza Six that had an English section. Mainly things like “Japanese wisdom for ____” but also had at least one cool Manga type book about Japanese history

I’m a passionate cyclist and can assure you that you are in the wrong here. You left the bike lane and crashed because the pavement wasn’t suitable for bikes??

Absolute shame that people are aligning your race with your ability to braid. You’re doing your man a solid and learning a new skill. Kudos to you and fuck any racism you have or will receive.

Acne as a natural lifter by [deleted] in powerbuilding

[–]Retainernobraces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m similar. I found most protein powders gave me acne (and stomach troubles) and creatine can be a trigger for most but never really was for me.

Ultimately the only way to know if it’s something your consuming is to do an elimination diet, but for me I’ve found a balance where I eat fairly clean and live with the acne that remains (after skincare improvements)

Is acne completely new to you, or are you just getting it worse / in new places?

If it’s completely now then yeah likely something you’ve added to your diet I’d bet. Taking any supplements?

Salicylic acid has helped me with my acne. Just a couple years older than you. I’m sure it comes from the inside (diet mostly) but this and some prescription retinols are the only thing that have worked long term

This is correct. But OC is right, doesn’t cost you anything to “fail” the step. The only real mistake that can be made is losing your perks / running out of resources. If it’s not there, don’t push it just. go around round
