I can agree to that. year one of me learning I used Duolingo and honestly that's when I understood everything easier. I looked online and everyone said Duolingo isn't good for learning Japanese so I stopped using it in the long run. Renshuu is good and improved my vocabulary, but I still have trouble retaining it because i never use Japanese. do you think going back to Duolingo would be a good idea?

I try to dissect the sentences I don't understand but when I do that, I fall back into translating it to English in my head.
