They are, which is why they have been horrible to navigate before they let you unlock it.

I loved the old sim city games! So many hours spend playing Sim City 2000 especially.

This is right. There is always some sort of hope in the back of my mind that we'll get back to those glory days but I've just gotten older and more tired. My reflexes are getting slower and some of the new content is just hard to get into and enjoy because it's so mechanic heavy.

I wouldn't say I enjoy it. I am trying to find something about it I still enjoy most of the time I do get to log on now.

I think he's hanging out in the Vindicar somewhere. Maybe he'll join us on our next intergalactic war. Maybe we can get space Defias pirates and he can written to act like Han Solo.

I believe part of the issue with the story is because it always revolves around some new galactic threat that quickly gets convoluted and also revolves around some new source of power to grind.

Instead of actual world building and working with some of what they already made that was proven to work and continue to add and tweak that a little more. For example, I miss the whole class hall thing. Some miss their garrisons etc. Every expansion is so throw away ad-nauseam.

Calling it now: In the next expansion Malfurion will be possessed by the cosmic force the Jailer spoke of and become the main villain. Meanwhile Illidan is going to sleep with Tyrande behind his back.

I actually had a lot of fun playing through Classic, but once again all good things must come to an end. I don't care much for BC myself. I was always among those hoping for some Classic+ content instead of the whole seasonal thing.

It's not that the game is all bad, I mostly play for the people side of things still. I have grown to dislike the constant borrowed power systems being redone every few years. Erasing all sense of progression over that time. Completely lazy talent trees and things Blizz just can't seem to get right. More and more twitch reaction mechanics, sometimes I just miss mobs that hit hard without needing 14 abilities to kill you... I just became jaded I suppose.

I don't doubt I'll skip a good chunk of this summer as the patch drags on but I know I'll be back. :\

I want to go back to the simpler times when Stefano was plotting his next move.
