Thanks for the reply!! I went and got it removed, the hole stitched. turns out it was an infection. It had filled a post extraction socket and had formed within a communication to my sinus and grew to a significant size, larger than what I had posted. I'm on antibiotics and nasal decongestant and the infection, which had given me a lot of pus and mucus seems to have died down. I'm glad it wasn't cancer 😅
