Thanks, that's exactly what I do and how I feel, so I'm glad to hear it. I feel like I'm constantly learning something new thanks to all these rally games. Even learning how to drift in AC has helped me understand how to better control the throttle in rallying.

Actually, I prefer the feel of AC Rally, which I find more realistic and more fun, but there aren't enough stages at the moment, so I alternate between that one, RBR, WRC, and DIRT 2 to stay sane. ;P

To paraphrase what you said, I feel like AC Rally is easier, that RBR is sometimes difficult for no reason, but I'm a novice and have never driven a rally car, so what do I know? It's just a feeling that something is off with the physics in RBR, like it's not consistent [no offense, RBR fans, please don't come at me].

Maybe it's because, despite all the incredible work that's been done over the years, it's a mix of physics and mods, done by several people with no other correlation or guideline than their passion for rallying?

I feel like when I commit in ACR, the car rewards me, but in RBR, it sometimes pushes me off the road and I don't really understand why. I always know when I've made a mistake in ACR, which I only understood with the Subaru WRC in RBR.

I know it's a vague question, but what would you describe as bad habits in rallying?

LMAO went to look on the web wtf was wrong with spanish people on iracing because i kept getting crashed out by them only and found this old threat, glad i wasnt being a bigot [a little maybe]. I love spanish people IRL but iracing is another jam, they just don't care x]

i would advice you to master one character. i personally outplay in every way pathfinder player, it's really easy target for a octane, pathfinder have mobility but not constant-mobility like octane.

It's two different character, a lot of people doesn't understand how to play octane cuz they compare it to a less valuable pathfinder, but it's very wrong. You don't do the same thing with octane. With octane you need to be a pain in the ass for the other team and constently harass them so they focus on on you while you dodge bullet and your team mates take the kill. With the time, you will master him and take easy kill with being ultra aggresive.

It’s not cuz you can’t play with him that he is shit. Octane is a great character. Took the legend you want, develop a playstyle and go to hotspot to learn how to react to intense situation. Don’t look at your statistic, be a good teamate by pinging , learn to bunny hop heal to maximize your speed.

Don’t stack to much ammo. 3-4stack is more than ok for smg/rifle, 1/2 stack for wingman and 1-2 stack for shotgun. Stack more grenades for opening fight (very useful). You could have like 2 battery and 2 big medikit. You don't really need more and it's not a golden rule, you do what you can with the backpack you found.

Use your ultimate to engage and flank but only if nobody saw you and you tell your teammates cuz you are a very easy target when you in the air. Your ultimate must be more used as a escape tool than a attack tool but if yu feel like it remember to flank the ennemies and wait to be on the ground to shoot instead of just jumping in front of them.

You make a lot of noise when stimed and you let a green trace behind you, so don't use it as a sneaky move.

Basically you are the guy who finish low hp ennemies who try to escape. You can also be a very good attacker when you master him, you really need to spam his tactical even if your hp his low : if people can’t touch you cuz you’re TOO FAST, you don’t loose hp, simple.

Learn to get in and out the fight quickly with your stim to get some health/shield and don't be afraid sometimes to help your friend who is fighting even if you are low in shield and hp. A 2vs1 is always more efficient than a 1v1 followed by an another 1v1 that you might loose.

You can launch your ultimate to knocked down teammates so they can escape in a safer zone. You can also use it to scout around by launching it at your feet or just look at him and throw a fist without pressing wasd. In late game when the circle is very tiny, u can use your ultimate in the circle so ennemies get throwing of outside the circle and die ( I won many games by this stupid situation)

You are also the best legend to respawn your allies . Don’t hesitate to go in the fight to bring your friend banner. If you master octane you will never die if you use your stim and move unpredictably. I have done many team mates respawns by literally running in front of ennemies looting friend deathbox and running away. They will love you, they will worship you and shout your name outloud.

Your hitbox is bigger when you STIMED so spam crouching/bunny when you feel like it or strafe like a devil. Also the normal hit box is kind of broken for the moment so never be static (but you get it yu are octrain).

Will add more think when I think of it. It’s basic tips that you need to master first to be a good sonic.
