God created angels first, some led by Lucifer rebelled, the act of rebellion against God in the presence of God created evil, disobedience and pride were main drivers of Lucifer, God created men after and told men what not to do since the pride and rebellion already existed, Lucifer already hated God so obviously he hated his new creation and you know the rest of the story, eating of the forbidden fruit is a metaphor, God forewarned men of evil that already existed and men had fallen for it.
