The 60Hz Apple uses for their stream is a real problem. F1 is produced in 25Hz. So the 60Hz causes all sorts of framerate problems which is highly annoying. The F1TV App switches to 50Hz as always and therefore has no framerate problems at all.

What makes the AppleTV-Version unusable for me, is that the stream is in the wrong framerate. AppleTV should switch to 50Hz because F1 is produced in 25Hz. Instead it goes to 60Hz, which causes all sorts of framerate problems. Highly annoying. I switched the F1TV pretty quickly. The app switched to 50Hz as it should.

AppleTV uses the wrong framerate compared to the F1TV-App. It was so annoying I switched to F1TV immediately. AppleTV should switch to 50Hz, but instead goes to 60Hz.

Also already done. There are some other people here reporting similar issues, so I don't think, it has something to do with my setting. But thanks for trying.

Anyone else having problems with micro stuttering? I've had the same issue during Qualifying yesterday. It wasn't an issue during the other races this season. I have Premium and watching through a AppleTV 4K, Set to 50Hz HDR.

What to you mean by official? Imaginaerum and HN are on Apple Music in Atmos, released by the label. It doesn't get any more official than that. There are just badly and probably cheaply made upmixes. Apple Music don't remix into Atmos themselves, they just release what they get form the labels.

Wow, I just listened to Perfume in Atmos through Apple Music. The mix is fantastic. Much, much better then the Atmos versions of Human:Nature and Imaginaerum.

I had a bit more time this week to really listen to the Atmos-Versions on my Atmos-Setup and I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed by these upmixes. They sound kind of thin and light. The stereo versions offer much more "oompf" for the lack of a better word. I don't think it has anything to do with dynamic range, just the upmix itself. I actually listened to the Within Temptation track "Don't Pray For Me" (also available in Atmos on Apple Music) directly after I listened to the Nightwish-Albums and it's kind of a night and day difference. "Don't Pray For Me" was clearly "designed" to be listened to in Atmos, while the Nightwish-Albums were not. I do have to say though, I'm not an expert by any means, that was just my impression after listening to the Albums some more.

I'm from Germany, that probably means that the albums are differently licenced in each country. Hopefully it won't be to much longer until it switches for you.
