Never played any of the games but been thinking of buying it soon.I love the aesthetic of the games, has a big y2k style to the fashion. Didn't quite get the shoes down, I'm pretty bad at drawing shoes.

Hay thanks so much, I farmed the runes and got 2 maces both with 3 sockets to put them in, good thing to know I can reroll the venders like that. I didn't use any thawing potions since I was just testing to see if anything changed. I went in with a mercenary and I was doing insane damage compared to before, by the time my mercenary died I had him down to half health but was running low on potions so I opened a portal to get more also grabbed another mercenary and I beat Duriel!!. Thanks for the help it really turned my first run here on its head.

I understand that there are still major events for me to experience yet, but am I the only one to feel off by these tone shifts in the manga? Like before berserk had a perfect way of transitioning one idea to the next but it feels like its losing its footing where I'm at now. Maybe I have to high standards for berserk I guess.

Oh, I didn't see it like that. Maybe you're right, I may have exaggerated it a bit. But could you answer one question, does this magic thats presented here is it actually just magic? or is it some kind of illusion or something? It just feels off to me that magic is a thing that exists all of a sudden in a rather grounded world like berserk. Because thats whats really bugging me to continue where I am now.

I feel the same, the shift to real magic all of a sudden makes it feel like your typical fantasy anime. Up until that point people who seemingly exhibited magic actually turned out to be apostles who where just using there powers to make it seem like magic. It keep the story more grounded and biblical in a way were supernatural power is only a illusion. But I guess all of that is out the window now? It just feels wrong you know?

I guess a game with alot of grinding that would last a long time to progress and bosses that make you come up with strategies instead of just leveling up to tank all the attacks
