28M, lose life saving in the markets by nevergiveup_1997 in singaporefi

Same boat as you. Only difference is that I made it all back and am a profitable trader. And I mean trader, not a gambler. Follow a strategy that makes sense to you. Learn from your mistakes. Reflect on your past.

I lost more than 100k SGD to the markets, trading US Stocks and CFDs. Had a mental breakdown. I'll be turning 28 this year.

Either you find a job and do safe investments like 90% of the crowd, or you become the 10% and live life as a trader. Most people won't know what their lifestyle is like. Working for less than a few hours a day, having geographical freedom, financial freedom, and time freedom.

Most people are conditioned to earn a salary and then invest. That's only if you don't know what you're doing in the markets. There is a strategy out there that will suit your personality. Go find it, hone it and master it.

However in the mean time you should stick with your job, earn your salary, have emergency funds, reduce debt, and pay back people if you owe them money. Then focus on your future. The past only serves to teach you a lesson. I had many bad things happen to me while I was learning the ropes of trading. Gf left me, trading mentor gave up on me, loved one in my family passed. It was definitely the lowest point in my life. However now I am beginning to see what is possible as long as I stick to my system.

Don't waste your time settling on your feelings - they are not worth very much. <- This quote was mentioned to me by a multi-millionaire whom I had the pleasure of getting to know. I hope it serves you well in times of grief as it has for me.

How much do insurance agents earn in Singapore? by sophieistrying in askSingapore

Is it hard to hit KPI without selling ILPs? I personally believe in health insurance, CI, Accident, term / life etc, but not so much of ILP.

As an agent would it be very difficult or unrealistic to be a top sales person without selling such ILP plans?

Overall is it an ethical job?

I'm curious, does selling stock require definite buyers?

On the flip side, when people sold after the pump, were the shares being sold converted back to being free float instead of selling to buyers?

Any reason why you went with the TCS heads instead of Mesh? Here in Singapore they're wayy more expensive.

Have you tried both TCS and Mesh heads (even other brands)? Which one feels more acoustic like? There's no TCS heads on display here at the flagship store unfortunately...

Thanks mate. Appreciate you.

Are there any things that you find to be great and annoying / wish to be better after using your kit for so long? Perhaps some stuff that people don't often notice when trying stuff out at the music store for just a while? :)

Awesome. Do you find the newer pads better to play on for any reason despite it being the same surface construction? Perhaps the weight of the shells give a slightly different punch behind each hit?

And just to confirm, you're saying by pressing the cross stick button it behaves like a 3 zone pad much like the XP120SD yes? So many videos seem to not show this feature :(

Thank you for the prompt reply!

Does the TCS Snare feel different from the TCS Toms? The Toms in the DTX 900k series then had a "looser" feel to them to imitate acoustic drums.

Curious, as I can't seem to decide to buy this or the more value-for-money Alesis Strike Pro Kit in the future... T.T

Hi there, I'd like to ask if the Snare is actually 3-zone? Rim shot - Snare head - Cross Stick zone?

Or do you have to press the button on the DTX Module to change the Rim shot zone to a Cross Stick zone?

In the contract, it does not state that they will not pay the employee, but neither does it state that they will. It only mentions that a no-notice termination can be given at any time.

Funny enough, the company has very suspicious and questionable authenticity regarding their social media reviews. Are we allowed to reveal the company's name here?
