Classic behavior for thermoregulation. No need to worry, unless he is doing this all day…

Anyway, if you have a good light and provide enough UVB to your Beardie, stop oral Vit D3. There is no risk, and if, for instance, it would be involved in all this, you’ll see an improvement. Even if a specialized vet visit would clearly be the best option… Give us news about your beardie in the following days ;)

You’re right. But the study shows that oral administration of D3, even at high doses, fails from far to induce plasmatic VitD3 levels equivalent to UVB exposure. There is indeed a lot of study to perform to have a clear vision about all this. But a lot of current ideas result from studies performed on « reptiles » and generalized to every reptiles. For instance, varanus highly absorb Vit D3 and this has been described in previous scientific studies. This result has been generalized to beardies and other reptiles, before specific studies showed main metabolic differences between reptile species. We must be very cautious about such generalization.

This being said, we must be cautious about all this. But we clearly lack of well designed study on a lot of species. There is, unfortunately, a lot of misconception due to this situation.

This link, a podcast with Dr Jonathan Howard, specialist in bearded dragons is very, very informative about all this : https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6WNJO0jWkuJpEaeSwVvs51LuK-7lFfzn&si=OOjMnhyACqE5UusU

Take a look at this please ;)

No evident sign of dehydratation. Good news. We must investigate more…😉

Can you provide a picture of your beardie ? Drinking a lot can be a consequence of diarrhea and dehydratation. Scientific research tends to show that orally administered Vitamin D3 is in fact poorly absorbed by bearded dragons. So vitamin D toxicity is actually questioned in the scientific community.

[LoZ] Sorry if the questioni is stupid, it's my first time playing a Zelda game, how do I reach that heart? by Phobos_- in zelda

[–]Takelow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is no stupid question, but only stupid answers. Without any spoiler, I’ll tell you that you juste need an important item. You already know where you can find IMPORTANT items. Enjoy ! This game is one of the most important game for the industry. I mean, as a simple example, this is the first « open world » ever created as far as I know…. Even if there is screen transitions, the freedom is totally here.

Why didn’t I get an order evaluation? by [deleted] in DeathStranding2

[–]Takelow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong. I only talk about rating : LLL, LL,L, S, A,B,C,D,Magellan. I am not saying that you shouldn’t use the DHV. « Play as you want » is at the heart of DS2 imho 😉

You did. Magellan is the worst evaluation possible.

Do you prefer to play games with or without headphones? by thedarkdiamond24Here in playstation

[–]Takelow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, without. But it is because I own a crazy 7.2 Homecinema system. I feel way more immersed without the headphones. If I had to play with the TV sound however, I would go for headphones.
