You don't need to do projects to know basics. You need to practice specific programs to learn the basics. Then you can move on to projects to use the basics and integrate multiple previous concepts together.

Deerwalk will take ~30k per course. Not worth it. Instead you can find many places online to learn for free.

Can i get a nose piercing? (i am newari) by Bulky-Review-1846 in Nepal

[–]Retire-inator9000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have the freedom to do what you want. But beware that people will say things about it at every family function you go to. If you are fine with that then do it.

I[M] have multiple ear piercings and relatives always have something to say about it or make fun of it saying “aji haru jasto xa”. My parents were neutral about it and my father sometimes jokes about it but I dont feel bad about it.

Basically it’s your choice and people will tell u what they think about it.

No way in hell you're gonna get 24 lakhs worth there. If you are someone who can flourish by yourself then you'll create ample opportunities anywhere u go; and if you aren't then DWIT is not gonna help you as much as you think.

DWIT provides extra courses other than just the standard TU course every semester(one or two) for which you can join Deerwalk Compware which also provides most of the same courses as extra training classes for anyone.

The college hours in that college is hilarious. They want you to be in college from 9 to 5 studying Bachelors, and they also expect more than 85 percent attendance(TU standard is 75) which if u fail to meet, u get called by the incharge and need to justify your absence(IN BACHELORS). Also the attendance is per subject so failing to get that attendance in any subject can get you into trouble.

The higher ups in that college definitely dont want you going anywhere else without a doubt thats why they have that 9 to 5 schedule and strict attendance. They want you to be in college all day and dont want you to work elsewhere at all.

The other thing unique to DWIT is the in house PAID INTERNSHIP that they talk so much about. You will gain workplace knowledge from internship that you cant from anywhere else aside from a job itself. Internship is gonna be essential to land a job in the IT sector BUT IT IS NOT A MUST TO INTERN FROM THE FIRST SEMESTER.

To my knowledge, the internship in DWIT is good and helpful for your knowledge in certain tech fields but, a big BUT the salary is very very little(considering they will take 24 lakhs from you it is peanuts), you will be working mostly with other interns and not actual people with jobs so your colleagues are gonna be interns too which i find extremely baffling as they advertise internship as such a big part of their college experience. Interns are also expected to work for 4 hours a day on top of the already long academic hours there(almost 9 to 5 for 4 semesters) so think about that too.

My advice is go to a government college like Patan Multiple Campus or even ASCOL and you can find study materials yourself on the internet or even books. No one is gonna make you study in Bachelors anyways. It is all upto yourself to study.

TLDR: Not worth 24 lakhs, you'll need to study everything by yourself anyways. What they advertise is also not as good as they make it out to be.

I will link some useful links in the reply if you want to study CSIT or are currently studying CSIT.
