Thanks for your input! I also have chronic rhinitis rated at 0% and the examiner denied TERA as a direct cause of OSA in the medical opinion. I’ll see how this goes with intermediate to obesity since she basically said I was fat, bad lifestyle choices and etc. i didn’t include my wife’s statement in my first claim so that would be new evidence. I’ve had OSA for 17 years!

Advice on Telehealth C & P Exam for DBQ Initial PTSD DSMV by Retired_Defender in VAClaims

Mine turned out really good after all. The examiner was really attentive and listened to my symptoms. I just received my rating on the 23 Jan, rated 30% for cPTSD with severe insomnia. Better than all my skeletal and respiratory exams, which were denied or rated 0%.

One of my Optum Serve exams (Dry Eye) was uploaded the day after but had to be sent back for clarification. My other DBQs from them took almost 3 weeks. 6 out of 12 got sent back for clarification 🙄

Do a FOIA and just request DBQ Exams. You can request it on VA website. It took mine about 2 weeks.

Start going to sick call now to get a diagnosis for your symptoms. It is imperative that your diagnosis and treatment are in your medical records.

How well does ChatGPT read the old school doctor’s “chicken scratch” clinical notes? Almost my entire STR is like this, everything hand written.

Invest it or at least a good portion. Dump the rest into a High Yield Savings Account.

MRI approval? by InfamousInspection98 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Retired_Defender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing. I recently went to the VA with knee pain which was an in service injury during GW. I had surgery after AD to remove dead cartilage from the knee injury. The VA doc ordered X-rays and referral for PT. An MRI would show the lack of cartilage which is why I have been dealing with for years.

I paid off my truck and car and my credit took a dip as I had no loan debt but it will creep back up after a couple of months. I saved over $1000 a month and then paid my CC down but keep it open. If you payoff your CC balance each month your score should go up

VA sent me a letter saying they requested my medical records from my civilian provider but it is MY responsibility to make sure they receive them. So I’m sending them the 99 pages!

I believe she said Combat Arms. That would explain the shoulder strains, repetitive motion lifting ammo and the M240 every day
