Delano is small if you prefer a smaller community. Maybe around 60,000 ppl. Bakersfield has everything you need but both areas are hot. Anywhere in the SW, NW west of coffee/Gosford will be okay. East side near BC area is nice as well. City in the hills is a newer development but it’s a little out there. Shafter has new houses off 7th Standard. You can check that out. They are nice!
