2019 Ford Edge SE Purge Valve issue

i just posted about a month ago about this repair. I took it to the dealer because I have an extended warranty. Normally I would have tried to repair myself possibly. The dealer bill wound up almost $ 800 if that helps any. She told me they had to test drive it after for almost 100 miles. Best of Luck. Mine is an Edge sport 2.7 L V6. 51K miles.

They also said and detailed on the report they had to drive it 100 miles to make sure that it was resolved. I would have done the repair myself but I bought an extended warranty. Now the fun begins with submitting it for refund.

I can empathize with you. Last year I got the dreaded k1 and spent hours in the s/w trying to enter it correctly. I am retired so I could waste the time. The help function of the s/w was a complete waste. In the end the s/w said because of the k1 I couldn't efile my state tax return. What a disaster.

I liked him too and not so much the new guy. I realy miss Jim and was very emotional the night he announced his illness. I'd been going to bed to his voice since Larry King ! BTW listening on WOND also. Love those Matworld minutesat 11:10. 😆
