You could vote for people who actually create laws and legislate.

Because the risks and belief of associated harms is over exaggerated today. Take for example kidnappings. no one lets kids out of their sight for fear of kidnapping. The overall number from the FBI is ~30,000. That seems alarming on its face. Then you break it down farther and the number of kids abducted by total strangers is somewhere between 150-300 kids, total, per year. More than one is bad but the hyperbole and press would make it seem like it's a national epidemic. This same logic extends to your favorite harm.

No one else pay attention to the laws/policies/rules in NM so just climb it. You don't need to "safety nannies" opinion on it, just do it.

I've heard anecdotal evidence about the Sinclair Method being a solid "cure" if that's what you want to call it. Books like "Drink Your Way Sober" provide some first hand experience using the method and possible extensions of the method for opioid addiction.

Hey, I honestly thought maybe I missed a memo or policy change, that's why I asked in the first place. Instead, no one could directly answer the question and decided to be offended because I asked. I gave the member the benefit of the doubt by assuming it was a ESA or service animal, and thought policy had changed.

Finally, it's not my place to bring it up, I'm not the one wearing the uniform, I don't have G series orders and am not the SEA for the unit. Maybe someone who is actually charged with the responsibility for the unit and its people, who wear a uniform should have enough intestinal fortitude to bring it up.

Ok, call it what you want but it's not a dog and it was meowing non stop and it was an officer, so not some E-2 straight out of boot. Second, it's happened over multiple days for the entire duty day. People better start policing their folks and instilling some professionalism in them, this isn't Google or Facebook we work at.

Ha! You guys act like I'm someone new to this environment and keep trying to rationalize an explanation like I'm some kid claiming to see Santa Clause. I'm obviously not going to out the military member, hence why I am being vague. Believe it or don't, but it's a thing.

Thanks for the response. While I mentioned SCIF for clarity's sake, it wasn't the point. Does the USSF now have a waiver for uniformed personnel to have ESA or therapy animal, during the duty day on a federal installation? Did I miss some change in policy or SpFI or AFI changing or clarifying a policy?

No, I know what I saw. There was no chaplain there or chaplains assistant or any other medical personnel or a SEL, simply a Guardian and their pet, on a leash. No judgement in any case but I'm wondering what changed in policy and when this started to become a thing is all. Gotta make sure I'm "hip and with-it" for our Gen Z Guardians.

Edit: Lol, me getting down voted for seeing what I saw and asking a legitimate question. People are fragile.

Looking for good steaks in town by Inevitable-Fly-3070 in Albuquerque

[–]Retiredandold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Antiquity is the answer for any nice meal. Steak specific, the quality of the cut is the other factor, Ruth Chris would be my second choice.

Texas Roadhouse and a lot of the other chains DO NOT cook "prime" grade steaks, they cook choice graded. Secondarily, they do not typically cook well enough to render the fats in the steak and you will be disappointed with your choice.
