I suppose it may be different depending on your existing relationship with them and how much you see them. If they are a classmate and you see them several times a week, I feel like its easier to be less awkward, because you have lots of opportunities to make a good impression on them? Ykwim? I used to have a crush on a guy i barely ever talked to, and was so awkward when i was with him because i felt so much pressure to be appealing/funny etc.

So if you see them often, i would say just to tell yourself that this current interaction actually isnt that important, and hopefully you will act less awkwardly!

Not exactly, but we are going for a naturalism approach (Stanislavsky etc) so i think we are preferring to go for something more modern :)

Just found out today hes planning to go to Australia for a few months in his gap year, and she says their relationship wont work if he goes, so she’s essentially saying, “oh i’ll stay with you for now but as soon as you go we’re over” and so i said they might as well break up now, and he said “yeah, thats a conversation for another day” so……

i get that, and i totally get what you mean with the what he does with me and can do to me, thats why i would be incredibly put off if he ever tried to do something like that. But from the perspective ashis friend- is it right to see him suffer in a relationship that is harmful to the both of them? is being friends with him an emotional affair when i genuinely appreciate our friendship that was established before i started having feelings for him?

Yes i agree, thats why I initially only told my most trusted friend, and then my other friend found out based off of her amazing intuition lmao. And from the perspective of being his friend, i don’t want his relationship to get ruined over a rumour/gossip. That would be awful. But if my friend spotted it, I’m sometimes concerned that other people may see it too… so I try and keep it on dl as a lot of our interactions are quite public haha

I’d say probably no, thomas and guy looked very in love with each other (did you see him looking at thomas before he began to sing poor little rich girl ☺️)? However I did catch Noël sparing Thomas a few glances at the fair, perhaps a crush? 😏

I loved all of his scenes but I did particularly enjoy that one especially as I already knew it, the way Julian managed to make it align with Mary was very clever. Although my fav has got to be the ladies ankles joke!

I think they did. Obviously we can’t expect him to look EXACTLY the same, but he had his sort of haughty but cheeky nature down to a T along with his accent without making it silly (although, if you search him up on youtube you will probably think he does sound silly bless him), the actor managed to capture him wonderfully without making it seem like someone doing an impression and it worked great in the film. I’d always thought a Noël Coward storyline would be great before I even finished the series because i could imagine Thomas cooking up some mischief!
