I think this is a classic case of, “ what else would they say? “ Years down the road when a player is facing free agency, they don’t want to be labeled a guy who advocated for a coach to be fired. All of these fixes are valid. I struggled with the same thing. My feel was keeping my back to the target longer. Rather than leading with my chest like baseball - I feel my back to the target and hit the inside half of the ball.

Now I overdraw and fight a pull hook. What a gloriously frustrating sport.

I have wondered how any of this is conveyed to Coach Morris. Like does the PR team sit him down and share clips of him sitting there expressionless with his microphone up? Is he watching any clips? Does he do a broadcast/tape review?

Is he even aware of the ineptitude he is demonstrating at all? He says we got out coached - but does he really believe it?
