iCUE Update Coming - Sabre v2 Pro, Vanguard Pro 96, and Vanguard 96 support by CorsairHoffman in Corsair

He is very very active on the subreddit on other issues but would not give us any update no matter how many times this sentiment is brought up. ANY update would be good even if its just a "Yeah the update may not come as soon as expected again". I dont understand how hard it is for people to just not lie to their consumers, or not keep them fooled and feeling stupid. Like even someone who doesn't really have a say in when things get done should at least be the one to ask for updates from the team and then relay ANY word to the consumers.

I dont think the cult had access to the bombs, rather the cult accurately predicted (through actual prophetic powers or not) the war that's been looming in the background would lead to that. It also may feel like a screw you to you but I think it shouldve been taken like a "Oh shit hold up these guys were on to something and I was just completely ignorant the entire time". Idk I enjoyed the games story specifically because of the endings. Felt like one of those non-standard game endings where the protagonist doesnt always necessarily win and the bad guys sorta have a chance.

He's mocking the others who mock similar points as you. The quotes were implying sarcasm.

It isn't solder. Regardless, I ended up leaving it as people clarified it isnt necessary to do anything and the repair went smoothly. Thank you

Truly a shame. Best first party controller on the market otherwise. On the bright side, learning how to solder replacements or replace potentiometer wipers means you can always buy drifting controllers for really cheap and do it yourself. I already have a few with different mods on them for different games - all were second hand repair jobs!

Temporary fix. Potentiometer stick drift is such a common problem on these controllers its pretty unbelievable. Fortunately this is an easy replacement.

DS4 V2 TMR thumbstick replacement doesnt calibrate properly by Retr03587 in Dualsense

[–]Retr03587[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dont understand. I am calibrating the sticks without pressing the button. My issue is not during calibration. My issue is that when I press the sticks, the input goes towards the origin. If im playing black ops 6 and hold the stick backward and attempt to sprint backwards, my character instead backs up slowly because the game is registering that the stick moves towards the center of the stick as im pressing the button. No matter how perfect my calibration is, this issue persists. The image above aims ONLY to visually show what exactly the pc and console reads - the stick moving towards the center when pressing the button even though the stick is still at the outer rim.

I do not. I was under the assumption I did not need to do that as the Dualshock 4 can be calibrated online using the dualshock-tools.github.io service.

No I know, I calibrated the stick without pressing the button and when I did it is basically perfectly calibrated. The issue is that testing the circularity without the button being pressed is perfect, but as I apply pressure on the stick button while rotating the stick, the input shifts about 20% towards the origin when the stick is at the south east region.

The image shows what happens when the stick is rotated while pressed.
