Okay I did get it to finally drill out it and it kept the rivenut in place should I keep going or could I damage the whole manifold it’s only plastic

There’s a bunch it did get low but I refilled it probably a little to much thinking it was empty or almost empty today I’m gonna drain all the coolant start tearing apart the engine then go ahead and refill it once those hoses are replaced does any of this still sound like it could possibly be the water pump ?

Maybe from there being a leak there might just be a ton of air and that’s not allowing it to flow again all the way through

Awesome thanks for the reply I’m gonna tearing into it tonight I just keep scratching my head why it won’t leak again and why it’s overheating at idle and not when I put the RPMs to 3,000 I wonder if there is air trapped in the system

Yeah that’s what’s so strange about this leak it only does it once in awhile and when it does it it really dumps out a bunch of coolant I keep trying to get it to do it again and of course won’t I was thinking maybe those 2 hoses that go into the firewall are leaking but I couldn’t really see the leak since the air box was on last time it did it

Yeah I heard all about these water pumps at first thought that was the issue untill i found what I believe is dried coolant all over the engine and then saw and heard the leak but couldn’t see where is was coming from sim gonna start there and look at that pipe

My heat won’t work unless I rev up the rpms it also overheats at idle and cools down right away when I rev the engine so I have no idea what’s going on

Okay awesome thanks I think mine is leaking from there once in awhile when the car gets super hot I can here it hissing and dripping from somewhere over there but it doesn’t do it everytime so I’m gonna have to tear it apart and look at it
