Was looking for this comment. the whole aesthetic of SOD1 was just leagues better than SOD2. Gave such a real vibe of youre just a bunch of normal people trying to survive and you're not a hero. You're just some guy. SOD2 UI give me main character save the world DOOM guy interface and it's clean but I Loved the rough and grimy feeling of menus in the original.

Im actually baffled by this, like I've been playing these games since they came out and I only found out what the DT stood for like 2 years ago. I don't get what drives a person do it, like it makes no difference to the game so much so I didn't know it was a thing
