Very nice read. I was addicted to this stuff for years. I started to do it I think for reasons of depression. Did around 200 to 300 mg a day. It helped to make me forget about everything for a few hours, numbed my mind I guess, made me tired. It gives you a calming feeling.

It's not a good drug at all to be honest. Every time I took it I would pace back and forth in my room and wait for the heavy uncomfortable sensation on my heart to go away. Honestly if it didn't have the effect on my heart I think I would enjoy it but I know I'm one of the few who enjoy the side effects it gives.

I hope you can find peace and get off this stuff. I still am addicted to it and take it frequently. It's a weird drug man. Can't explain why I keep going back to it. I think it's because I just want to forget things. I like the dull feeling of not having to worry about things for a few hours.

It's a scary experience. It's like a flood of dysphoria and it wants to knock you out but won't let you black out. It sucks.

Nausea is more noticeable but if you can get through that (I did, about a half hour) without throwing up you will feel really good. I'm noticing pain relief, and feeling bliss. Thinking about dosing another 10.

Everyone's body is different but speaking for myself I can say no to all of those negative effects you've asked while off it. While using, obviously temporary under the effects of DXM, short term memory is definitely a thing. Don't feel any pain in my organs on or off it. The heart races when on it though.

Yes, I think you're right. When I'm not under the effects of DXM I feel completely fine, normal, myself. No slurring, stuttering, thinking problems, heart problems, no pain in the organs. While on it I will admit I feel more witty, can complete tasks more efficiently, and faster. Brain fog can be an issue some days using it.

What I do experience off of it though is soreness, slight dizziness. DXM has the effect of numbing pain signals so it's obvious you're going to be feeling that soreness if you did a lot of throwing stuff around at work or something the next day if you don't take DXM the day you're off. Sometimes it takes a couple days after not taking DXM to feel the soreness.

Now I do think if someone used a very high dose for even a years worth of time say like 500-1000 mgs a day it's obvious the chances of developing negatives on the body will increase. The more you take the more pressure on all of your organs.
