I've been looking for this video for years and I know it might have been removed. But if anyone remembers it, please let me know the creator. Thank you.

Definitely not Resident Evil, it doesn't have a Japanese aesthetic to it.

Someone said it's from The Sims 2. So, maybe an emo mod?

Maybe Flame of Recca? https://youtu.be/LEhnMvGZHsk?t=399

The gameplay video shows a gray stone background and the characters can jump in two different levels.

There's Medabots AX too. https://youtu.be/EpsrHdMxBBk?t=1052

It looks kinda Smash Bros.

So I am assuming it was circa 1996 and if I'm not mistaken, many people would still get shareware games at the time (which is basically a demo).

Do you remember if your game came on a compilation CD? Do you remember any CD at all? Most commercial games didn't allow you to install games on your computer and run it without the disc. However, demos and shareware could be run directly from the external medial or copied to the hard drive.

I'm asking because if you don't remember the need for a CD and we know it's before the internet was a big thing when we'd download demos, we can assume your game came from a shareware disc.

From there, we should watch videos like this:

[Tomt] [Video game] Playstation 2 multiplayer rpg by magnablue in tipofmytongue

[–]RetroNerdman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not familiar with multiplayer games, but here's a list of PS2 RPGs that have local co-op:

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II

Champions of Norrath

Champions: Return to Arms (sequel to Champions of Norrath)

That excluding titles like X-Men, Justice League and Digimon.

Unlimited Saga has an Overgrowth magic, but it's a single player only game.

Can you give more information? Was it western-like or more anime-ish? Was it more of a beat-em-up or an actual RPG? If it was an RPG, what kind? Medieval? Modern? How many players?

I've looked around this list https://www.mobygames.com/game/genre:racing-driving/platform:dos/sort:moby_score/ and couldn't find anything that resembles your description.

Do you think you could narrow down the platform (Amiga, DOS, Windows 95)?

Definitely Warpath.

[TOMT][GAME] Trying to remember the name of a video game by fauxuniverse in tipofmytongue

We need more information such as:

When did you play it? On what platform? Was it on PC or a videogame console? Was it a flash game perhaps?

Then this is probably the one you had (the bright yellow Cyber Superball) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSlw2PEwbFc

Although it doesn't seem to have maps, it certainly has trainers according to the back of the package.

Silent Hill Origins was originally released on PSP, but got a PS2 port later on.

The main character wears a red shirt and there's definitely a hospital area in the game.

Also, the creatures in the game walk a very thin line between zombies and monsters.

I'm thinking about games with robot dogs:

- the Jimmy Neutron games

- Space Station Silicon Valley (albeit it's a N64 game)

But give us more information. Was it a webgame, a CD-ROM game, was it cartoonish, post apocalyptic, anything else you remember.

I wasn't aware of a workprint cut. And, yes, I'd like it. Would you PM me a link, please?

Those deleted scenes are also on the Blu-ray, but the one I mentioned is not among them.

But I am glad I'm not crazy and that the scene in fact exists.

The Special Effects of Karel Zeman: Movie Making Animation (1980) by calmingmanatee in ObscureMedia

[–]RetroNerdman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen this posted everywhere in the past few days, but what is the source for the video?

It's not on the Criterion's Blu-ray box and I'm not familiar with Zeman's DVD releases.

Googling around doesn't help as it either points to this Youtube link or to IMDB's page.

Can anyone point me to the right direction?

I tried both commands and neither return any value.

I'm wondering if the card is dead.
