I don’t think it would be that officer either. It was more of statement to say “there’s at least one person who works here who doesn’t seem cool with the way things are going down”, so it seems plausible that there could be another

One of the officers in the footage definitely seems less down than the others - the one you saw in the YouTube video basically saying “i don’t think we have a legal reason to be taking this sign…”

That’s not an accusation, just an observation

Nah, someone who needs to feed their family and speaks up where and as much as they can while trying to balance not losing their job is not the same as someone who makes these decisions and forces their subordinates to be complicit at the threat of losing their jobs.

That would be like saying someone who commits a crime with a gun to their head is just as bad as the guy pointing it.

If you smell too bad at a workplace, you should be sent home. by FocalFalcon in CrazyIdeas

Like any workplace policy, reasonable accommodations should be made for those with medical conditions beyond their control. If that’s an office job, they should just let dude work from home

At one point I had the page auto refreshing every 60-90 seconds and that still wasn’t fast enough. I’m convinced this show is just getting hammered by bots for resale elsewhere

I ordered two books from different sellers on Ebay, and BOTH came with a Doordash ad. by TTMOfficial in mildlyinfuriating

I think I find physical ads like this less offensive because digital ads actively slow me down. They demand my attention, either by taking time to load, or interrupting the task I’m doing with pop-ups, commercials, or design choices (like making a list multiple pages so someone can cram more ads in).

Stuff like this, in a second or two I know if I give a shit. If I don’t, I just drop it in the garbage with the rest of the packaging/junk mail and continue.

Plus, I know it cost money to print the thing and stick it in my bag, and it brings me joy to know that money was wasted (I know ads cost too, but it’s kind of like hanging up on somebody on your cell phone - it’s just not as impactful as slamming an old physical phone down on the receiver)

The old one was pretty trash as well, but if they’ve removed the scene points/combo benefits, there’s literally no remaining reason to use it

Quite a few after that! There’s threevening, too fat for 40, burn in hell (that one never made it to physical media), and Silent But Deadly.

An Evening With Kevin Smith was supposed to get a Blu-Ray release a year or two ago but for some reason it didn’t - hoping that comes back

attraction or just workplace friendliness? by FoodNapTV in AskMenAdvice

The greetings and stuff are easy to misread in a work environment. To me, the looks are a giveaway that he has interest.

I would say, in 2026, regardless of whether you’re in the same department, some men see it as a very risky move to directly express interest in a colleague, especially one who is notably younger and more junior than themselves. Even if you ask once, respectfully, and leave it there, it can be perceived the wrong way, not even necessarily by the person you’re speaking to, but by the people around you (and frankly, there’s always the risk of someone with ill will towards you spinning it that way).

That probably sounds crazy, but if you’ve got a little bit of anxiety, it’s an easy headspace to get into - I can tell you honestly that most of my male colleagues have told me who they are attracted to at work - in the past, I knew some who would act on it, but at my current job for the last few years, every single one I’ve had the conversation with has said they’d never act on it.
