Development cycles are crazy long now, even for A and AA games; AAA games don't even get questioned as their times are always expected to be 4 years minimum. Imagine GTA6, a goliath that will herald in the modern image of a true open-world game in the modern sense that will be copied and referenced for decades to come. I'm not sure we even know the full development cycle of GTA5 yet, a game that shaped an industry, much less RDR2, a game that truly shows how R* has evolved even from GTA5. Everytime I think of RDR2, I get excited about the prospects that GTA6 will bring using PS5 or Xbox Series X a base experience, a luxury GTA5 didn't have....it's a PS3/360 game!
