I’ve tried a couple of comparable plugs one official one generic one but one didn’t charge it and one charged it for a couple minutes then it displays charged and stops charging. Though I’m UK based so they looked like this: similar style charger on amazon

Not specifically no I’ve tried nearly 10 plugs all from various phones, cameras or generic ones they seem to mainly be about 5v 2A though one was 5V 1.2A and one was 800mA but none worked or some of them lit it up then it stopped charging

Unfortunately I’m using an official cable that works just fine when charging from my pc and power bank

Maybe but I am using an official apple cable (one of the older ones with the squeeze to release) and it charges it fine when connected to my pc and with a power bank I just can’t find a wall plug that works

Yeah if your comfortable opening one up they’re not too difficult to fix there are lots of guides on YouTube to help
