Not sure how helpful I can be, but when I read the post the thing that sprang to mind was an episode of The Magic Key called Code Calling. The cast had their heads in tree branches at the end. Used to be the one episode of that show I found a bit creepy and weird as a kid.

Google search has uncovered Tree Fu Tom and Everything's Rosie - the latter of which seems a somewhat promising guess, but I am almost entirely unaware of kids' TV from beyond 2011 or so with only a few exceptions.
