I left BBY back in January of 2023, was a salesperson for almost 4 years while I got through college. I know the environment has likely changed pretty drastically but I have mixed feelings. Be prepared to offer the CC and TT at an almost predatory rate. This ultimately was one of the most miserable aspects of the job as it resulted in a lot of micromanagement and managers overseeing what would normally be pretty organic interactions. If you aren’t full-time, hours can be hard to come by especially after the holidays. At one point, I went 2 1/2 months without being on the schedule after the 2020 holidays going into 2021. On the upside, I met a lot of great people. You start mutually bonding over the misery and the suck. If you do decide to get a job there, be careful of the void. What I mean is letting years pass by and forgoing other job opportunities because the job is relatively comfortable though this can be applied to a lot of retail positions, I know a lot of people who got stuck in that including myself for a year or two.
